In a major boost to India's defense and aerospace infrastructure, Lohia Aerospace Systems has committed USD 8 to 10 million over the next two years to build the nation’s first commercial large-format additive manufacturing facility. Located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the plant will leverage advanced RapidWings technology through a strategic MoU with Israel’s Massivit. By slashing manufacturing cycles by up to 90% and cutting tooling costs by half, this facility will accelerate production across defense, UAV, and commercial aviation sectors while drastically reducing reliance on imported tooling.
